Grrl Power #1505 – Let’s meet more contestants
Okay, first thing’s first – Max did not pose hands-on-hips-chest-thrust-out no-looking the explosion behind her. Don’t get me wrong, she’s definitely no-looked plenty of explosions, but she doesn’t really do the Superman pose. So the image they’re showing is probably a “for illustrative purposes only” generated image.
Also I think Max’s Ixah holo-disguise is making her boobs look bigger. It’s definitely not because I’ve accidentally been afflicting her with cup-creep over the last few dozen pages.
If you recall, Thothogoth is “Dominus Secund” of The World Takers. Yes, I know on that linked page, he calls himself “The World Taker” not “of The World Takers,” but he’s being aspirational there, not to mention trying to sound tough to the flying gold woman. The thing is, demon society is rather hierarchical, and there’s eleven other “Secunds,” besides Thom, who each have 12 subordinates below them, who each have below them 12 subordinates, etc. Yeah, it’s a weirdly rigid structure for beings that claim to be all about chaos. Well, speaking of chaos, were something permanent to happen to Dominus Prime during the tournament, (or even just while he’s commuting to work or whatever) there’d probably be a heck of a power struggle to claim that top spot.
Green Strider is the longest-in-the-queue waiting Patreon cameo I had. I think he’s been waiting since about a week after I set up my Patreon actually. I just never quite figured out how to fit a… oh, heck. I just realized it’s “sentai,” not “zentai.” Yeah, I know zentai is the skintight onesie, and sentai is the genre of people wearing skintight onesies and fighting goofy rubber monsters. I’m not gonna change it. It makes “the mysterious zentainium force” even funnier to me. Anyway, I never figured out how to fit a sentai character into the comic, but now here we finally are. I think the reference picture I have is from a City of Heroes character creator maybe? But it’s just the one shot and it’s kind of covered in glowy… bits, and it’s just a single angle, so I have to simplify the suit design a bit and make up some of the rest, but hopefully he will be amusing in his role as a UCBA finalist.
Oh, look who it is in the vote incentive. The NSFW version is finally up at Patreon. Plus a bonus pic.
I think she would get in trouble for doing this. She’d mess up the… floor of the waterfall? Is that what it’s called? The receiving pool? No, probably not that. Anyway, she’d churn things up and cause a ton of weird erosion.
Since you might be wondering, Niagara Falls is about 165 feet high, so Babezilla obviously doesn’t have to be full sized. I’d say she’s about 175-180 feet tall here?
Double res version will be posted over at Patreon. Feel free to contribute as much as you like.

So, our final lineup:
Creepy Flaming BioMech
Racist Angel
Dominus Daddy
Adam Warlock as Power Ranger
Mecha-Dumpty
and Strangely Familiar Lady
Who will win? Who’s next?? YOU DECIDE
Now I want to see the channel that reports on this match as an epic rap battle ..
This is such a hilarious accidental commentary on male/female character designs. We have a couple of fcked up guys, one regular dude in a suit, several genderless entities and two hot babes.
Might just be the circles I hang out in, but the “fucked up guys” may actually be considered more attractive by those inclined to male partners than the average super.
Oh yeah, the Morning Glory Milking Farm type circles, right?
I assume it’s because more and more women are tapping out of those ever-increasing standards they’re supposed to find attractive in regular men, so they find themselves safe spaces away from all human men in general instead. Female on female peer-pressure into conformity is a real social issue that’s not getting enough attention in my opinion.
Eat chicken VS Eggbot would have been fun!
They might have even FUSED FOREVER in an unbeatable loop of regenerating each other and covered the entire planet, I wonder what happens to bets when THAT happens??
A true Chicken and Egg problem.
Well … Dabbler and Cora managed to talk Max into going out in front of septillions of eyes dressed in nothing but a *very* thin layer of paint. (and as somebody who has done bodypaint modelling in her wilder years I can assure that it takes a bit of ‘oookaaay … I am not as ready for this as I thought I was’)
I would not – at all – put it past that duo to add a little inflatable nanotech to the paint.
(so Dave, you are not responsible. Clearly it was Dabbler’s fault)
We know that the glowbod projections can extend out a bit (the glow of bodysuits are skintight (p1400), but Sydney’s disguise has hands big enough for her to discreetly use her orbs in a pinch (p1387). That might not be viable in UCBA combat, though.
Obviously the only one who will win is egg-bot. No one can be egg-bot’s supreme might.
Except that damnedable cyan Erinaceinae!
So a demon, a sentai, an egg bot, and a woman walk onto a demolition approved planet. Give it a month and we’ll get the punchline.
Well I’m guessing our favi op lady will take the lead but she gona end up being out by one of these others or Deus’s unknown cosmic horror lady is gonna snip off that disguise for Deus plans.
She was never planning on winning the whole thing
I admit I’m a little disappointed that a contest pitched as battles between cybernetic dragons and planetary siege mecha is distinctly lacking any exceptionally large combatants in its final round.
Maybe size is overrated and impractical. Ask Sydney.
in-universe reasoning: Being big is prolly a fairly hefty weakness when you have Maxima or approximate leveled powers that are not that big. Once your enemy is inside you fucking you up you end up with a “Well, how much damage do I do to myself to get ’em out” situation.
OOC reasoning: I’d wager drawing a giant, planet eating cyber dragon would introduce a lot of issues when it comes to scale… we already lampshaded cora’s ship being a pain in the ass to draw!
Too much chaos is boring. Using order to create chaos, or vice versa, is FUN.
