I’ve shown Frix wet before, so we know he isn’t all fluff like an owl. But in panel 4 there, he does look a little skinny without all his fur brushed just right. Anatomical quirk, or rule of funny? You be the judge.
Wearing a “Glowbod” would be a lot like wearing prosthetic makeup, in that it’s physically there. Or at least presents as a solid surface to touch. I would think that if you’re glued into a werewolf snout, you have to eat lunch through a straw because it takes 8 hours to get into the makeup, and the director, producer and FX team won’t let you try and eat a manwich with your fake muzzle. The main difference with a glowbod is that there’s no weight or spirit gum tugging on your forehead fuzz and pressing into your face, making you feel like you just got botox.
Cora and crew have the super advanced version of this hard light hologram system, in fact, they’re using a less comprehensive version of what Cora uses to generate her limbs and outfits. She has full sensory inputs transmitted through her hard light projections… context appropriate inputs – she doesn’t feel pain if someone stabs her in the armor plating, but she does if she steps on a lego barefoot. She can dial up or down the sensitivity of those inputs as well, naturally. The version Sydney and Co. are using has haptic feedback, and some muted temperature sensory pass through, but that’s about it.
There’s probably some algorithm (I refuse to call such a thing “A.I.”) that watches facial expression and body language and translates that to ear and tail movements, or wing twitches, or whatever extraneous body parts are included in the illusion, but it takes a while to observe a learn how the person wearing the glowbod behaves.
There is a new one coming soon, I promise!
The vote incentive is finally done!
The update to the TWC image is pretty minor, but the Patreon version has the bonus comic as well as nude versions. I will strive to make the next one more timely.
Double res version will be posted over at Patreon. Feel free to contribute as much as you like.
